As a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, I specialise in treating children but also adults who have suffered from trauma. My focus is on helping those who have experienced PTSD, Complex PTSD and adverse childhood experiences. I work with looked after children with a history of trauma and adults whom struggle with managing difficult feelings and emotions. I believe that every person deserves to receive the best care possible and I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all of my patients. With years of expertise, I am confident I can help you as a trauma survivor overcome the hauntings of the past.

I am CPCAB Counselling trained with a NVQ Registered Managers Award in Child Care, Post Graduate in Psychoanalytical Child Observational Psychotherapy, and a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Traumatology for those suffering from PTSD and CPTSD: A comprehensive and systematic approach for treating complex PTSD in adults and children. I have been trained in various other treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Transactional Analysis, Solution Brief Focus Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy exposure, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Image Rescripting and Reprocessing Therapy, Exposure, Relaxation, and Rescripting Therapy, Clinical assessment for PTSD and CPTSD Safety, Stabilisation and Normalisation and Emotional Regulation techniques for Trauma survivors and more.

Approach to Treatment
My goal as a clinician is to spend time assessing you to understand your symptoms and determine your needs or a probable diagnosis so we can specifically target your the cause of your difficulties. I aim to provide a safe and supportive space for children and adults to process and heal from their trauma. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches including Solution Brief Focused approach, variations of cognitive - behavioural therapy, and trauma - focused therapy to help you develop the skills you need to manage difficult feelings and emotions. My approach is tailored to each individual as the needs for every person is different due to culture, lived experiences, environment and background. I work closely with families, looked after children in residential care, educational establishments and more if needed to ensure that they are involved and informed throughout the treatment process in cases where there is a minor. My objective is to essentially ensure a sense of safety and security is something you experience in a space we create because it is your space to work through being stuck and together help you to become empowered to continue your life with healing.
